Use this Communication Board for Aided Language. Point to the pictures on the board as you are saying those words. Model this for your child and encourage him/her to point to the pictures as well! Once the child understands how to use the board, he/she can use it to communicate by pointing to 1 or more pictures/words with or without speech.
 
For Beginners! Start off small and work with one word/concept at a time and slowly build bigger messages. Model, Model, Model! Use the board yourself to communicate first by pointing to key words WHILE you are speaking.
